Joe arrived in Canada from Portugal in 1975, at the age of 15, and was amazed by the quality of life this country made possible. He set out to learn every part of home building, working in every position in the field until he knew the trade and the market inside out.
In 1993 he founded Canland Homes LTD., named after the country he fell in love with: the Land of CAN. His goal from day one has been unfaltering quality, consistency and innovation, and he still oversees every aspect of each project himself.
